Serve the Church

Use your gifts to serve the church. There is great satisfaction when we use our gifts and are used by God to build up the church. Each one of us has been created with unique gifts and abilities that can bless others in our community. We want to emphasize the importance of each memeber as a precious part of the body of Christ created for good works and encourage you to use your gifts. Below are a few opportunities you may want to check out.

David Shipman

If you have a heart for missions, we would love your help. The goal of this committee is to encourage the church to carry out the Great Commission. We do this by praying regularly for our missionaries, bringing their needs before the congregation, hosting our yearly missions conference, and offering short term-mission trips.

Mercy Ministries

David Thompson

We all have needs at times and we want to foster an atmosphere of grace and generosity as we share our resources with those truly in need. Jesus said when we help other we help Him, "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me."

Adult Ministries

Joe Sugg, Jr.

If you want to lead or start an adult class or Bible study, contact the adult ministry team. The Adult Ministries team oversees all the adult classes and bible studies of the church. Our desire is to provide support and encouragement to the teachers, small group leaders and facilitators of our adult classes. We offer guidance and oversight of curriculum and leader training.

Children's Ministry

George McClintock, Jr.

Do you have a heart for children? Jesus set an example for us when he said “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” It is our priviledge to oversee the training and activities for the children of the church.

Music & Worship

John Mark Wilson

"Praise the LORD with harp; sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings. Sing unto him a new song; play skillfully with a loud noise." You can get involved in music ministry in several ways: children's choir, youth praise & worship team, adult choir, or the adult praise & worship team. Contact John Mark or Steven Salter to get involved.

Women In The Church

Amy Shipman

The purpose of the Women in the Church is to help women know Christ personally, grow in God's grace, grow in fellowship with one another, and serve in the church body. Throughout the year we have circles, women's bible studies, and fellowship opportunities for all women in the church.
