ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL
CLASSES
PURPOSE
The purpose of our adult Sunday school is to experience the graciousness
of God together through teaching, fellowship, prayer and relationships
in such a way that we grow to maturity in Jesus Christ both as individual
believers and as a church body.
DYNAMICS
A
Place to Grow . . .
Our adult Sunday school is a place where you can grow in God’s
grace through the teaching of His word. We seek to teach the whole
counsel of God through a curriculum balanced between the Old Testament,
the New Testament, doctrinal issues, and Christian living. We primarily
study books of the Bible yet occasionally make use of Christian
books and other resources.

Place to Connect . . .
We want our Sunday school to be a place within the larger body of
Christ where: people are pastored, prayed for, and cared for; true
Biblical community is experienced; people are assimilated and welcomed
and meaningful relationships are developed in our church family.
If you are new to the church, this is an excellent place to get
to know people.

Place to Serve . . .
Lastly, our Sunday school communities are a place where you can
use your gifts to serve others in the body of Christ in real and
tangible ways. Sunday school class members are encouraged to serve
one another, to serve within our broader church family, and to serve
others in the Dothan community together.
